Finca Binissatí Wedding in Mallorca — Sunset & Forest Ceremony

Finca Binissatí Wedding: Forest Vows, Golden Sunset, Mediterranean Ease

September in Mallorca gave us everything we love as storytellers: a calm breeze through the woods, warm Mediterranean light and a sky that set itself on fire at sunset. A & S chose Finca Binissatí, a centuries-old estate in the heart of the island near Binissalem/Inca, for a relaxed, elegant celebration that felt effortlessly them.

Getting ready at the finca

The morning unfolded on site — quiet courtyards, textured stone walls and filtered sun. Details were personal and playful: hand-drawn menu cards, the rings resting beside lace, and a quick taste of lemon cupcakes before the ceremony. This setting is part of Binissatí’s charm: history, privacy and nature all in one place. (The estate traces its story back over 500 years.)

A forest ceremony with a gentle breeze

A & S exchanged vows in the bridal oak forest, where soft shade and the sound of leaves became the soundtrack. It’s an intimate corner that keeps guests comfortable and fully present — exactly why this spot is so loved at Binissatí.

Portraits at golden hour

After the ceremony we wandered the estate’s pathways — olive and almond trees, open fields and that wide Mallorcan sky. As the sun dropped, the colour palette turned peach-to-magenta and gave us those cinematic frames you’ll see below.

Dinner under the orange trees

Long wooden tables dressed in whites and greens framed the Patio dels Tarongers. Floristería Mallorca styled timeless florals and greenery; Caro (DMC Medvibes) kept the flow seamless. Dinner was hosted by the finca with a live Paellas en Casa station — the flavours and the theatre of the pans became an experience in itself.

The party under festoon lights

As dusk turned blue, SIX15 took the reins with live musicians and DJ. Lucas Chito DJ provided sound and lighting — haze, beams and a tight dancefloor mix kept everyone moving until late. Omar (Skylion Films) captured motion while we chased the energy in stills.

Why Binissatí works so well for destination weddings

  • Total privacy, nature and history in central Mallorca (near Binissalem/Inca).

  • Signature spaces: oak-forest ceremony and the Patio dels Tarongers for open-air dinners.

  • Capacity & stay: exclusive-use venue, ceremonies/receptions up to ~210 guests, on-site accommodation for ~8.

  • Solid Plan B: indoor areas like Sa Tafona and Clastra de Tramuntana for weather backup.

Planning notes (what we learned)

  • September light is gold — plan portraits 45–60 minutes before sunset and keep a 10-minute buffer to walk the estate.

  • Forest comfort: offer hand-fans/bug-spray baskets; the shade is kind, but details matter.

  • Dinner styling: long tables + low florals keep views open and conversation flowing.

  • Sound/lighting: a focused dancefloor rig creates atmosphere without overwhelming the courtyard.
